Remains of the Night
Has anyone ever asked you what you want in life? I’ve been thinking about that question a lot lately, and my answer has changed through out the years. I think that’s a good thing. But, that’s beside the point.
I want to be alive. I want to be the closest to alive as possible.
I want to love. I want to reach the closest to love as possible.
And I want to live a life that fights so others can do the same.
That’s all I want. It’s simple.
Other ramblings:
Increase the good. decrease the bad. I read once that life is about aesthetics. Meaning, life is a spectrum of beauty, and our goal is to write beautiful stories into our lives that increase the aesthetics. Walk in the rain, sing at the top of your lungs, tell your friend you appreciate them, hug your mom, buy a homeless man dinner, have your grandma tell you her life story. Increase the beauty. Live for aesthetics. I like that thought.
